Chobani Coconut Snowball
This limited edition yoghurt from Chobani, comprising coconut low-fat Greek yoghurt, coconut coated almonds, coconut pieces and waffle cones, was an instant hit and a refreshing departure from the typical yoghurt flavours out there. While the sugar content may be a little higher than I would like, it is a delicious way to start the day.

Beekman 1802 Goat Poop Truffles
The Beekman 1802 brand is known for high quality products and it’s always a joy to visit their flagship store in Sharon Springs, NY, which offers a decadent range of beauty, home, décor and food products.  My favourite thing from a recent visit to the Sharon Springs Mercantile is their tin of “Goat Poop” Belgian chocolate truffles: sea salt caramels, roasted hazelnuts, toasted almonds, white chocolate sugar cookies, maple malted milk balls and butterscotch pretzel poppers. As the packaging says, “it’s not easy to make goat poop this tasty!”

Bob’s Burgers 2019 Calendar
Bob’s Burgers, the Emmy Award-winning animated series, has become one of my favourite shows. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about: you’re missing out.  The series follows the adventures (or misdaventures) of Bob, who runs a burger joint (you guessed it, called Bob’s Burgers), his wife Linda, and their three children Tina, Gene and Louise.  I was delighted to find a 2019 calendar featuring hilarious scenes and quotes from the show each month.

Dancing Queen on Netflix
RuPaul’s Drag Race alum, Alyssa Edwards, has become quite the star in the years following her appearance on season 5 of the show and All Stars season 2.  Justin Johnson is also a talented and successful choreographer and owner of Beyond Belief Dance Company in Mesquite, Texas.  The Netflix docuseries follows him as he teaches and mentors young dancers and tries to manage their annoying mothers.  Of course, Alyssa (usually in a wig that is…well…beyond belief) is always present to tell it like it is.

The Crazy Rich Asians Trilogy by Kevin Kwan
This trilogy (which I have just finished) is unashamedly a guilty pleasure with its over-the-top characters, the vulgar superficiality and decadence and at times soap opera-esque plot developments, which transports the reader to a different world where old money, new money, inquisitive family members and those desperate to climb the social ladder cause life to become very complicated for some of the characters.
