I am a late-in-life Jonas Brothers fan - I missed their Disney era which included two Camp Rock films and their Disney series Jonas. I really only started paying attention to their music as a group with 2019’s Happiness Begins, their first album in ten years after pursuing solo projects, which I really enjoyed (see: Nick’s Levels and Close with Tove Lo and Joe’s single Cake By The Ocean as part of the group DNCE). The album was preceded by the catchy Sucker, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and was their first number one single.
Their current Christmas movie was a delightful watch - though admittedly ridiculous, it was a lot of fun. Plus, it included new songs from the band which definitely helped set the holiday mood. In the film, the Jonas Brothers' tour finale in London is over, but the real challenge begins: getting home for Christmas. When a cascade of missed connections and unexpected travel crises threaten their holiday reunion, Kevin, Joe, and Nick must rely on their strained brotherly bond to overcome the escalating obstacles.
I decided to check out their current tour when it made a stop in Brooklyn. Jonas20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour is the brothers’ thirteenth concert tour in celebration of the band's 20th anniversary. The show features a comprehensive setlist spanning Jonas Brothers hits alongside big songs from Nick and Joe's solo careers. Kevin also debuts his first solo track, Changing. The brothers fuel the show with high-energy performances, amplified by spectacular lighting and well-timed pyrotechnics.
For their final stop on the North American leg of the tour, the also welcomed several guests to the stage: early 2000s pop-R&B sweetheart JoJo, who performed her huge hit Too Little, Too Late before joining the Bros for a performance of their song Vacation Eyes; Yoshiki, Japan’s biggest rock star and world-renowned composer, pianist and drummer, who literally got straight off a flight from Tokyo and onto the stage to play the piano on Fly With Me; nine-time Grammy winning singer, songwriter, and pianist, Norah Jones who performed her hit Don’t Know Why with the brothers and hot alt-rock sensation, sombr, who sang back to friends with them.
I might not have known the words to every song but it was a most en-Jo-yable night. The Bros combined effortless charisma with audience engagement throughout the show, all while delivering a vocal performance that exceeded expectations. The addition of two Christmas trees and two Christmas songs to their setlist (while shamelessly promoting their Christmas movie) also added the perfect dose of holiday cheer.
The complete setlist was as follows:

Love Me to Heaven
